One of the most convincing and detailed rebuttals of IPCC's AR5 has come from Des Moore, of Melbourne,a former deputy-secretary of the Australian Treasury, in a presentation to the Economic Society of Victoria, in which, inter alia, he said: "many uncertainties emerge from a careful assessment of claims that a danger exists of ever increasing temperatures and the claim in the fifth IPCC report of increased certainty does not hold water. No substance can be established for that claim because no definitive causal correlation can be established between past changes in temperatures and in atmospheric concentrations of CO2. "  Mr Moore's presentation was accompanied by a number of explanatory graphs prepared by distinguished Aussie scientist Dr Tom Quirk.
