 "People with different views of how society and nature work will differ in their perceptions of potential risks. But can the BAS [Bulletin of Atomic Scientists] seriously propose that a trace gas in the Earth's atmosphere necessary for life, carbon dioxide, and the Communist dictatorship of the Soviet Union pose equal threats to humanity?"  Professor Dan Sutter, of Troy University, comments on the BAS shifting its 'Doomsday Clock' forward because of climate change.
