The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) has been scaremongering again, with the director of its Earth Science Division warning that rising seas will have "profound impacts" around the world, suggesting that low-lying US states such as Florida are at risk of disappearing, as are some of the world's major cities such as Singapore and Tokyo.

Such scaremongering is not new. It's been going on for the last 35 years or so, with examples of 1970 predictions of coming "ice ages" and similar coolings before the alarmists changed their tune to warn of dangerous man-made "global warming", a term that has been changed to "climate change" when Earth temperatures failed to co-operate by remaining stable for the past 18 years.
