This is a must-read 82-page report, "Consensus and Controversy" is probably one of the most compelling, in-depth reports in the debate on man-made global warming. It is a propduct of SINTEF (Norwegian: Stiftelsen for industriell og teknisk forskning), headquartered inTrondheim, Norway, the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia. Every year, SINTEF supports research and development at 2,000 or so Norwegian and overseas companies via its research and development activity. in early pages, Prof Mike Hulme, of U of East Anglia, discusses what he now terms the 'four myths' of climate change. It is a wordy but fascinating document.
