With what seems increasing regularity in the run up to the next UNFCCC meeting in Paris in December, we get breathless assertions of such and such a month is "the hottest ever". The latest example has been posted by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in respect of July 2015.
The skeptic U.S. blog site Icecap explains why these assertions are false.
